Update on Fancy which Ireceived this morning Hi, Fancy's 2nd week check up today was great. They removed the stitches and Dr. Aragon was very impressed with how well Fancy is walking already. He said she's a great candidate for physical therapy/rehab; his expectations for her are to be living a normal life and be pain free. We have an appointment next Friday with Dr. Laura Hady who will do some measuring to see where Fancy is at now, and come up with a plan for her, ie underwater treadmill, etc., plus she'll show us some new exercises we can do at home. She said they usually do a 4-6 program with with once/week visits and results are normally seen right away. Dr. Aragon said Dr. Hady is one of the top 3 in the state. The initial visit is around $150 and the subsequent visits are $55. This morning Fancy tossed around a stuffy again while I made breakfast, in addition to 2 other play moments during the day. She is becoming a little more active and playful everyday. Every morning begins with lots of tail wagging and shoving her head into me, with some kisses thrown in, she's just adorable in the morning. And as I'm typing this from the couch, I'm watching her get herself into a great roach, aaaand she flopped over. Every day is more fun than the last. Lisa

I am donating a gh coat - thinking about a Jeff Gordon, my friend has donated a magnet saying spoiled rotten greyhound lives here (and she does not even have a greyhound she get tormented by my hooligans). I am going to check around and see what else I have also.

EZ had his first seizure with me at 6 am, he has had them at 2 am and also at 7 pm - the 7 pm one was involved with a cluster of three and the 2 am one was another cluster of three. Every seizure that EZ has had has been when he has been in a deep sleep.

I had Queen Softee (Softshoesureshot) Oshkosh Racey was her sire also Highway had Oshkosh Racey as his sire no seizures Penske (Magic Penske) I have, Eclipse, Buddy & Gracie who's sire is Flying Penske no seizures either How do we really know if any of these pups had seizures when racing as there in no one in the kennels at night and BTW that is when EZ has his seizures at night and during his sleep time. It is something to think about tho with the electrical shock he had

Have not heard of any others in his litter having seizures or even in his line. Oshkosh Racey who was his grand sire and Flying Penske was his sire.

I'm trying to do a bit of research for you. Did EZ race at Wheeling? What is his registered name? Do not think he ran at Wheeling - his racing name was EZ Lord Penske and Thank you Just back from my PCP and he believes that this was the cause of his seizures along with some other people - too bad we don't have any documentation from the 6 months in the other kennel after being zapped but the kennel he was racing out of when he was zapped has no hx of seizures

EZ does the GSOD but a few time while sleeping he has let out the most alarming scream, I wonder if he was having a bad dream of beeing zapped. I ran over to him and he was sound asleep it was similar to a wail but not like the GSOD which he does quite frequently when he can't see me...

Still trying to find out more information on EZ. I am going to ask questions on another board about pups hitting the rail and see how often it happens.

Greyt news Erica/Susan can't wait to hear more responses about this cream. TG my pups do not have corns. BTW this is where I get EZ's KBr which they compound for me and his phenobarbital. Erica I hope you have some good news today am waiting to hear from you Beryl

Who know Samantha but I have heard that some have run into the rail but not as bad as EZ and one that was fatal. It was posted that the was a lucky dog.

We realy don't know if only two dogs were inujured. I will have to ask more questions and see what I can find out

EZ was the first one I heard of with contact with the rail I have heard of pups getting hit with the lure and causing injuries. Wish I could find out more information on EZ as to when his seizure started but I guess I never will as he was in a kennel and there is no one around at night. Also, would love to find out how he lost all those teeth in the front and what happened to his ears.

Silverfish How does the lure operate in the UK? BTW I came to the States from the UK as a young child
