  1. What a lovely, eloquent tribute to your special little girl. I'm so glad she was able to spend her last months with someone who loved and understood her so well. Though her time was way too short in your home, she will be in your heart forever. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Rose.
  2. Beau, you gotta be okay, sweet boy! Sending prayers to you and your Mom.
  3. Oh, the precious boy....keeping you both in my prayers for a fast and uneventful recovery.
  4. I'm so sorry you and Foley have gotten this devastating news. Every day, your precious girl will know how very much she is loved.
  5. Yes, I think that's how you spell his name. His practice is in Beaver, about an hour from Pgh. It's Beaver Animal Clinic. There's also another holistic vet in Beaver Co.---a woman, not sure of her name.
  6. Ah, Weeg, you sent your Mom and Brad someone to love. I kinda thought you would. Deb, what a perfect way to honor your angel Luiggi. Fennimore is a lucky boy. Thinking about you, and hoping you're all okay.
  7. Oh, Lorinda, what an eloquent tribute to an exceptional dog. And that picture---it made me smile, even with tears in my eyes. How brave he was! And I think he was brave for you, and because of you. It's clear that he was exactly where he was meant to be. We grew to know, and to love him, through you, and we'll miss him too. Polly couldn't have had a kinder, sweeter boyhound in the world. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Rascal Dascal.
  8. What a lovely little old man! His sweet picture brought tears to my eyes. What a terrible shock his sudden passing was. Not only did you have no time to prepare yourself (not that there is ever really enough), but you wanted to give him the love and happiness he so deserved. But you did, totally, and he knew it. He was truly home. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Seany.
  9. I think we can all understand these feelings, though as others have said, the grieving process is unique to every individual. There is no set time frame, and sometimes, when we think we've come so far, that sadness can sneak up on us at the most unexpected times. Silly, everyday things can bring those feelings crashing down on us, and we find ourselves back in that painful place again. But I believe that the smiles brought by unforgettable memories replace the sadness eventually. For after all, we were blessed to have had them in our lives. Think of what we would have missed, the love we never would have known if we hadn't taken a precious dog into our hearts. I'm so sorry you lost your sweet Maggie.
  10. How old is she? If you're comfortable doing the surgery, those are pretty good odds. Sending lots of good thoughts out to Joiya and you. Please let us know how she's doing.
  11. Oh, the poor little girl. She will be on my prayer list.
  12. B9, B9, B9, B9, B9, B9, B9, B9, B9, B9 Sending "benign" prayers for her surgery.
  13. You and your beautiful boy will be in my prayers.
  14. Our collective hearts sank....I'm so sorry. Your mind is going to be consumed with thoughts of what to do for your precious girl, and it will be hard to think of much else. So many decisions. You will do what you feel is best for Neyla because you love her so much, and understand her best. Everyone is here for you, always remember that.
  15. What an amazing, exceptional dog she was! And how wonderful that she got to spend her final years with her perfect family. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Quilty.
  16. I'll be keeping Neyla and you in my thoughts and prayers. This is a hard time---we just can't help but worry about our babies.
  17. Oh, no! I remember that she had that episode back in March, but my heart broke when I saw her name here. What a lovely, unique lady she was, and how you loved her. My prayers and sympathy are with you and David (and a gentle hug for her sweet Roodie, missing his Mom). Lynn, I'm so sorry you lost your precious girl.
  18. Good news! Larry, you've gotta chill out, sweetie. And Ollie....
  19. Thinking about you and your precious boy, and hoping that he is okay. He has captured our hearts!
  20. I wouldn't have known not to try and pull it out, so thanks for that info. Really scary for you AND Tania. Glad the sweet girl is recovering.
  21. Such love was expressed in your eloquent, heartfelt tributes. And words seem inadequate to reply. She was your precious jewel, stolen way too soon. Her loss is devastating, but the timing is especially cruel. I know you are dealing with so much pain, and we all wish that we could do more to bring you comfort. Please know how many hearts are breaking with yours, and sharing your sadness. Beth and Pete, I'm so, so sorry you lost your beloved Peanut.
  22. Oh, Andrea, I'm so sorry that the monster osteo stole your precious Star from you so suddenly.
  23. What Jen said. God, Beth, this news just hit everyone like a kick in the stomach. I can't imagine the heartbreak you are feeling right now. I've only dealt with cancer 3 times, but I think it's especially hard right at this stage of whatever journey you chose to make. You are lost and faltering, trying to make sense of something that can't possibly make sense, and not knowing what to do next. And it's especially gut wrenching because it's just so damn soon. But like Jen said, you will do what you have to do, what you feel in your heart is right, for Peanut. I so wish that loving them alone could keep them safe forever. Please know that you are in so many prayers.
  24. Oh, what a lovely senior lady! How blessed you were to have shared her life. I'm so sorry you lost your precious Red.
  25. I am so sorry. I can feel your heartbreak at losing your precious heartdog Spencer.
