  1. You won't need to teach your grey how to smell. They are sighthounds but they are also dogs who smell their surroundings and other dogs to gather info. However, if your grey gets loose, they don't return because they can't rely on scent to get home, rather the scent may be prey related and they get lost.
  2. Liz, Larry and Madison, we are so sorry. You have had so many losses these last few years. But your love for your greys always comes first, no matter how painful. Wishing you much strength as you once again grieve for a loved one. Godspeed Target...rest well sweetie. for all of you. Ben and Bailey will get an extra hug today in your honour.
  3. wonderful update...GT is the best.
  4. Ben did it once at the vets'office, the vet was going to check his heart rate. I guess the stethoscope was too cold Dave and I didn't react while our vet said he almost had a heart attack. It only happened one time so I'm not sure why he chose this moment for the GSOD.
  5. Ducky, I'm so so sorry. Although he didn't have a long time with you, he had the best life with you.
  6. Ben used to take shoes and gloves...it was so endearing because he only took mine No problem, if one was missing I knew exactly where to find it. he never destroyed it, just took it to his bed. He stopped shortly after we adopted him. Brooke will take stuffies outside, drop it, pee, pick it back up and bring it back in the house. I'm not sure if it's hoarding, but it sure is cute.

  15. I made these today and the pups love them. I went with the easy version though and substituted sardines for the tuna.
  16. I'm so sorry for your loss. You gave him a wonderful life full of love.
  17. Dry sockets in humans are very painful and one reason why you don't use a straw after an extraction. I'm not a dentist but I wondered if the pulp was exposed by leaving the root (perhaps the nerve died? not sure what term to use). I would think if it's infected, you need some meds. It sounds like he wants it to start bleeding again to form a clot.
  18. Yes, 9 is so young...I'm so sorry for your loss
