erindarwen Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 recently adopted a three year old girl. she loves her toys but also loves to tear them apart! she’s got through some quite tough toys and it soft toys only last a matter of time :/ she managed to chomp straight through a rope toy the other day! i’m concerned about her choking on small pieces of ripped up toys. wondering if anyone has any good recommendations?? Time4ANap Posted October 26, 2020 Posted October 26, 2020 If you search online, there are a number of toys made from fire hose (basically canvas). They are some of the toughest. Kong branded toys are also good but check the reviews for the individual toy you are considering. Some are tougher than others. Quote Camp Broodie. Hubcitypam Posted October 28, 2020 Posted October 28, 2020 (edited) The flat stuffingless ones have lasted quite well with the terrors on this block. Morgan brings them to bed with us.https://www.chewy.com/zippypaws-skinny-peltz-no-stuffing/dp/131776 Edited October 28, 2020 by Hubcitypam Quote
cleptogrey Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 ruffians by JW are industructible. i had one that was gross- left outside but over 10 years old ! the fire hose toys and skins lasted a very short amount of time here. the legs of wubbas were chewed off in minutes. marrow bones- raw last. fionasmom Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 When I had my basenji mix I found the Fat Cat brand of toys stood up to her yet were soft enough the greys liked them. Target used to carry the brand and probably Tractor Supply. Quote
