Hello,

I've had greyhounds for 10 years and I just found this site.

I adopted my first greyhound in 2002 when I retired from the Navy. "Wink" and I were best friends for nine years before he passed away last year. Not wanting to be dogless, I adopted "Nando" a couple of months later. I've had Nando now for a year and we are getting along fine.

Welcome to GT. We would love to see pics of Nando. I'm so sorry for your loss of Wink...9 years is a long time to be together.

Welcome! Nando is gorgeous, I love a black dog (says the girl with 3 reds).

Glad you and Wink had 9 wonderful years together.

We are just below you in NE Georgia :)

"It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." -- Unknown
