Meet Freddy

Hey folks,

I've been popping in and out of here the past few months leading up to my adoption date. The wealth of information here has been an incredible resource for myself as a first-time Greyhound owner. After researching and waiting for the right time in my life, I decided to adopt Freddy (Superior Freddy) a 4yr. old male. It's been a little over a month now with Freddy, he's been a joy to have around and each day he seems to show his true colors more and more. I look forward to contributing here in the future! :)

Here's Freddy:

He is extremely cute and sweet looking! Welcome and congrats!

I see he's an Iowa dog, and a stakes winner too. He's related to my Beth -- his grandsires are her sire and grandsire. :) Where did you adopt him from?

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Freddy was adopted through GPA-MN. I'm just beginning to dig into his family history a bit more so it's nice to hear he has some relatives around here. ;)

Hi, and welcome. Freddy is a cool looking dog.

Did you try to find his races on video archive? I found my dog's. It's really neat to see him run flat out, trying his best.

I did. I've never been to a track so I haven't witnessed that kind of atmosphere but it's incredible even on video. A neighbor of mine as a child had 4 Greyhounds and watching them play chase together was pretty neat. I'm looking forward to finding an area to let him really open up his stride soon here. He enjoys his 4 walks a day but would probably like to cut loose, even for a minute or two.
