Guest sirsmom Posted April 16, 2011 Share Posted April 16, 2011 Our mix had optic neuritis. Large amounts of pred but hers turned out to be a small tumor that was inoperable. Guest IrskasMom Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) Robin just a little over a Year ago for Morty's annual Checkup, my Vet noticed some red in Morty's right Eye and refered me to an Eye Specialist. The Checkup for his Eyes were so extensive.I had to leave the Room or I would have gotten sick to my Stomach. It was a mild UVitis TG. The 2 different Medicins ,three times a Day , 3 Drops each and some Lubricating Drops to, was more then a Struggle , it was a Battle.I am keeping all my Fingers crossed and sending Prayers and gentle Hugs for Phene. and a for later BTW. I wouldn't be surprised, but I don't know. He's no longer putting much weight on the rear right leg but last week Treasure stepped on it and then he slipped on the floor and hurt it again. He's on 25ml Metacam per day. Providing the x-rays don't show osteo or anything like that (the is pretty sure it isn't but I want to be sure), he will probably start long term management with rimadyl with blood tests every six months.
