The last two pictures of Maggie about a month ago. I bought her a squeaky toy at Petsmart. Even at 15.5, she loved her stuffies. Thank you all for your wonderful support. Guest DylanGospel Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 Our sweet little girl Maggie arrived at the bridge yesterday at 12:30 pm at the ripe old age of 15.5 years. My wife I got her as an 8-year old senior. Her previous owner returned her and we really never could understand why. Maggie was always a bit underweight, and one could characterize her as "sickly", but she was strong and stubborn and always came through. She was an amazing little girl. She finally succumbed to a stroke that left her permanently unsteady and unable to eat or drink. Her last car ride to the vet was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do. Barb and I hugged her and kissed her and cried as the last bit of life left her body. RIP Sweet Little Girl :brokenheart What a sad thing to go through, but you certainly gave her a wonderful life for many years.
