Guest KRKWMU Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 Bonnie is doing so much better this morning. She was perky and moving around a lot more as we were getting ready today. Both front feet have been swollen and giving her trouble. She had been limping quite a bit. This morning, that is much better. I got a call from the vet who has been handling all of this. She had spoken to our "chemo" vet (we've seen too many lately! ) and they decided to give her the CCNU chemo medication yesterday (Tuesday). Her lymph nodes are up and that has all of us concerned. Could be from all of the trauma, the lymphoma, or a combination of the two. I think they are being more aggressive with the chemo to make sure we do everything we can for Bonnie. And, just a side note...about Chinese herbs. Right after the lymphoma diagnosis, we saw a holistic vet. We didn't have any experience with this kind of thing, but we figured it wouldn't hurt, so why not. She recommended a few different herbs, foods, and acupuncture at times. The more and more time that passes, the more I believe these herbs have really helped Bonnie. Everyone has been amazed at how well Bonnie has healed up and "bounced back" after this. I really believe those herbs had a lot to do with it. Hopefully, we can keep things moving in the right direction. Thanks everyone. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
