Thanks for the update.

Hope option 2 works and Gus has a lot more good days ahead of him!

Give him a big old hug from me.

Catching sunrays and watching butterflies is good work for a greyhound. I hope he gets to enjoy lots more of both. Sending hugs and gentle scritchies.

I'm so glad that Gus in home with you tonight. He must be pooped after such a long day! Sounds like stritches and belly rubbins are definitely in order. :heart

Sending prayers for good results with plan #2. :hope

Kerri, it is good to see Gus home with you again. I'm also hoping option 2 works for him - it has been a miracle for Hobbes to have the Prednisone treatment since last August. Although he no longer can go for walks and is very wobbly on his back legs, we feel his quality of life has been good. He is comfortable, eats well, and is very content - all I could hope for him at almost 14 years. May Gus have many wonderful days of sun and butterflies ahead of him. Life gets a little slower but as long as he is with you he will be happy.

Hope Gus had a good nights sleep after all his testing & that option 2 gives him some relief & many more days to enjoy.

Thank you for posting about all of this - I'm sure it will help other hounds & their people.
