Cully Posted October 7, 2007 Share Posted October 7, 2007 Stacia called me about 3:30 this afternoon. King ran outside and put his back leg in a hole. He let out the death scream and would not put his leg down. I went over to help get him in the van and to the vet. The vet did xrays and didn't see anything but the xrays were not the best. The injury is up near the hip. The vet didn't know if maybe he pulled something. The vet gave pain meds and told Stacia to take him to their regular vet for better xrays on Monday. He wants King to be sedated for the xrays on Monday. I was helping the vet with the xrays and we could not get King to lay on his back. He was in to much pain. I just got off the phone with Stacia and he got up on his own and Stacia took him outside to pee. She said he peed for about 5 minutes. Thanks for the prayers and good thoughts. I still can hear him screaming. I hope King gets better soon. Prayers for all. He is knuckling under with that back leg. He isn't eating either. She is taking him to his regular vet first thing in the morning.
