Is it his pancreas enlarged, or was it the spleen rupture that they saw? Hoping the meds will help quickly....I know what you mean about sleepless nights..... LaceyLaine has had many episodes of pancreatitis and was in ICU for a week in critical condition with her last flare up. She was so sick and we were so scared. I know your fears. gazehund Posted July 7, 2007 Share Posted July 7, 2007 Just got back up to check in for an update. Pancreatitus is a serious condition, but it can be beaten. One of my old mixed breed dogs was the same as Lacey Laine. Sicker than sick for a week, but he pulled through to live many more years without another flare up of it. Continued prayers for the Rusty man and his Momma and Daddy. Sending more prayers to Rusty It was his spleen they saw, it was in his stomach area and had pushed his intestines up into his chest area...that's the only way I can explain it from the x rays I saw.
