our male does not jump into the car, while our female always has... I've heard "rumors" that the females live in the upper crates so are more adept at jumping? "crate-up!"

We had the same issue when we got #2. You just have to pick it up and #1 will learn to eat when it's offered.

Ugh, waiting I was hoping he might benefit from being on long-term anti-inflammatories. Our Kingsley was having what we thought were siezures, but the vet said," I think he's just in pain" and she determined he had some arthritis in his back. He has been on a steady-dose of deramaxx now rymadyl and we have Tramadol on-hand if he has an episode... but it has changed his life to have those anti-inflammatories on-board.

I'm so sorry it happend so quickly, but it brought me comfort to know that you were with Cody for that special last-night's sleep and you were with him on a work day to care for him and be right there with him... you did good for him.
