  5. our male does not jump into the car, while our female always has... I've heard "rumors" that the females live in the upper crates so are more adept at jumping? "crate-up!"

  7. I just read thru this trauma now, and I am holding back the tears... what horror you've had to deal with seeing him in pain, and seemingly Drs not knowing what to do.... oh, many prayers for you and Neko.
  8. We had the same issue when we got #2. You just have to pick it up and #1 will learn to eat when it's offered.
  9. wow, that a dramatic change... so glad for the huge improvement and for your year's supply of Peeps to keep him going! Thanks for the photos too... while we hope to not experience such things, good to see what it can look like (and that is really could/will get better)

  13. Ugh, waiting I was hoping he might benefit from being on long-term anti-inflammatories. Our Kingsley was having what we thought were siezures, but the vet said," I think he's just in pain" and she determined he had some arthritis in his back. He has been on a steady-dose of deramaxx now rymadyl and we have Tramadol on-hand if he has an episode... but it has changed his life to have those anti-inflammatories on-board.

  15. I'm so sorry it happend so quickly, but it brought me comfort to know that you were with Cody for that special last-night's sleep and you were with him on a work day to care for him and be right there with him... you did good for him.

  20. If you know you have a friend who could live at your house and provide the care you'd want and expect... do not let this travel opportunity pass you by. As long as your grey is safe and loved, she will be fine, and you will miss her more than she will miss you.
