On walking: After Minnie's crisis, she did a couple of days of shorter walks, but was soon back to the regular routine. She walked just fine, it was turning or standing on slippery floors that made her unstable.

FWIW, I heard an Animal Services officer telling a neighbour that one of the concerns about birds is salmonella. Some dogs seem to be able to fight it off; others--my Edie, for example--cannot. -
No seizures is good. Very good. Hope he settles soon.

I'm sorry. One of mine has had cluster seizures, but she's been OK for a bit on Levetiracetam (Keppra), which you've already tried. I hope you can find something for Steak.

Oh, Megan, I'm sorry. I don't have anything to add to the advice that you've already received, especially since my losses were for different and more urgent reasons. I hope you and Gibson have a good bit of quality time left.
