  1. TriciasZoo is right across the river from you in Millington. I'll let her know you've posted
  2. My greys consider any walk longer than 20 minutes to be cruel punishment. While we don't get to walk every day, the days that we do they sleep like logs.
  3. Evil elf here. I'm having trouble visualizing Wiggles and Jelly. Is Wiggles colored like a wiggly worm? Is Jelly grape or strawberry? I absolutely must have pictures of them. I must be accurate when reporting to Santa. Brown on the left, brindle on the right, I haven't got a clue in sight! So post some pictures- from teeth to toes and around you goes.
  4. Shimmie dear, You neglected to tell what your favorite color is.
  5. Have you posted a lovely query via an elf to your Secret Santa greydoggy but haven't seen a response? Would you like to have your post bumped or that person PM'd to ahem, check the SS forum? The macoduck team is available for bumping, poking and prodding.
  6. Limited experience here with Tramadol but it did provide more relief than Rimadyl. Gentle hugs to Monty.....
  7. There comes a time when we finally feel the strength to pull away from our heartache. Never completely letting go. Looking over our shoulder for just one more glimpse of our lost loved one. We begin to come back to the present, to those other furred and skin beings in our life. They mourn with us and also for us as our hearts have been unavailable to them in our grief. There is no set time frame for recovery. One day it will come to you, and when you open your eyes there will be Bebe and Flippy asking for a cookie.
  8. Raven is so very lucky to have you.
  9. Many have posted here that their vets never put greys up on an exam table. I've had issues with my vet over putting my dogs on the table for basic checkups in the recent past. My question here is in regards to getting a surgical or dental procedure that requires anesthesia: Are the dogs fully awake when placed on the table? Are the dogs fully/slightly sedated on the floor before being put on the table? Are the dogs fully/slightly awake when being taken off the table?
  10. I shall relay this information to your Secret Santa and tell him to cancel the coal order. Be sure to check in the SS forum as there is a second evil elf trying to find you.
  11. Looking for Judy here too.............
  12. Still looking for Judy................
  13. That must have been so scary for you. We had one foster here with sleep and space aggression. Her reactions were lightening fast. Over time I trusted her and let her on the bed with me with no problem. Until one night I moved (and surely I must haved moved in my sleep before) and she jumped up to snap at me. I called her name and she stopped, blinked and looked like she didn't know how she'd gotten into that position. No more bed sharing with her. So I am thinking maybe it is possible for sleep aggression to cause this, even with Gabe standing over you. Thank you for making the effort to find a cause for Gabe's problem.
  14. Oh, Judy......... where are you Judy...........? I'm worried somebody might get coal in their stocking.
  15. Judylenasmom, Your Secret Santa has asked me to make this inquiry: Lena, Lena, sweet and fair What is the color of your hair? Do you like blue, do you like red? Just what color do you dread? Be honest, at least a little honey, Do you prefer the Easter Bunny? Do you prefer Eastern Daylight Time Or Daylight Savings Time? Do you like sunny days or showers? Do you flip for flowers? Would you have the hots for polka dots? Or do hearts make you hot? Are you ripe for stripes? Or would a sock monkey be just right? And now to complete this tease, send me EVERY measurement please! from your evil elf macoduck
  16. Sniffling right along with ya... You are now a member of a club that nobody wants to join. The dues too high, the membership too many. But we're all your best friends.
  17. Trish and Adrian, I am so sorry for your loss. Peatie was a very special dog. Dear mom and dad, I'm OK. Nothing hurts anymore. My first home was nice, but I was meant to be with you guys. I knew my mission long before I was born: to help humans and Bebe. You and Bebe were my destiny. Beebs was such a mixed up little girlie. All it took was a big brother to guide her to a less-stressed life. I loved cuddling with you and her. Mom, I know you are worrying about Bebe now that I'm gone. She really has grown up and is more secure. I told Flippy some things to do to cheer her up if she gets blue. Dad Adrian, you were just the best dad ever. Our house was almost like an ark- dogs, turtles, birds, orchids, and ferrets- but you always made it feel like a home and you take such good care of mom. I liked going to the hospice place. Old people needed lovin' too and mom and I had plenty to share. I did my job here on earth just a little too well and left you guys too soon. I am happy to report that I've met Nellie, and Oliver and Comet and Scarlett and all those other bridge kids you told me about. I have been really busy sniffing butts and checking out all the cloud-soft beds up here. Last week I sent an ESP message to my Fairy Duckmother to order some Burpdog cookies. I know UPS doesn't deliver up here so when the cookies get to Tennessee and I want you to have a little party. Something tells that Beebs and Flippy are gonna have a major wiggle & sniff over that box of goodies. Mom and Adrian, have no regrets, you gave me all I ever wanted and more. Love, Peatie I will miss you too Peatie.
  18. Foxysmom, thanks for relaying to us this information on Peatie. Nothing strikes a greater fear in us than hearing, "greyhound down".
