So glad Skittle is on the mend - won't she be a happy girl to be home !

Just reading this now - poor Beau! Sending many prayers.

It's time to rest now Skittle, and let sleep heal. Tomorrow is another day.

The clinic sounds wonderful. Hope you won't have to wait too long for news. Meantime, hope you can get some rest so that headache goes away.

Although also not without risk, my understanding is that Metacam is safer if you want to use a pharmaceutical product. Others with more experience will be able to provide information on supplements. My Rickie was on Metacam for awhile after joint fusion surgery and still, very occasionally, for a few days if he overdoes something and limps. As a preventative I give him Cosequin which has recently been superseded by Flexadin - both are made by Nutramax Labs and my understanding is that there is a fair bit of clinical research behind the products. Not cheap though.

Poor Skittles and poor you. Hopefully with around-the-clock veterinary attention Skittles will improve. Sending prayers and hugs.

Watching for an update and praying for good news.

My old foxhound had MG. The biggest symptom in his case was spitting up - started with water and gradually became everything. He was also very slowed down on walks, but not to the point of lying down as happens with some. Do have the test done - it takes some time for the results to return but it is definitive and will allow proper treatment. This is not to exclude other suggestions including testing for TBDs - if it were my dog I would do both in order to get my dog on the proper treatment asap. Good luck, please keep us posted.
