  1. a 503 won't recover without my intervention, if you see a 403, you get 3 chances before it changes to a 503 and you're stuck. I've never seen a failed login cause a 403 or a 503. A failed login will use a different system that causes a waiting period after 3 failed tries or so.
  2. verify it with your eyes, if it is correct, you are good to go, if not, please correct it.
  3. It won't let you change it to a banned address, both gmail and yahoo should be fine these days. If your email address is correct in the system, then yes, that's great, no change needed.
  4. Not if your have verified that your linked email address is correct
  5. you can't display your current password, the best you can do is logout and select forgot password on the login page, the forum will then email you a link to reset your password. You'll receive a random new password, but it still won't display what it is currently set to. After using the new random password to log in, you can change it to whatever you like. And the reason behind this?
  6. I'm giving you plenty of notice. We will be changing hosts and updating the forum most likely in January 2019 after Secret Santa is complete. The delay is because our custom SS software will no longer function after the update. When we move, I'm sure you'll all be required to re-login for the first time in who knows how long. Make sure you know your login/password and have an email address tied to your GT account that you can access. Per the "What Members Need to Know" thread from 2011... To verify and/or update your email address, use MY SETTINGS in the control panel, or just click HERE Verify it with your eyes, if it is correct, you are good to go, if not, please correct it. I will bump this in Nov, Dec and again in Jan, but don't delay, as no exceptions will be made. I cleared a bunch of restricted email addresses a while ago, gmail, yahoo, etc. If you have trouble with your freemail address still being blocked, PM me, (PM vs a support ticket) so I know you have access to the account with a different email address, a support ticket from a different email address won't prove that, and I can't help that way.
  7. exactly as above, browsers have moved to suggest that non https sights are not secure. It means the data transfer between you and the site is not encrypted during that specific transfer, not the data stored by the site, just the actual transfer to and from, though the only thing stored here that is encrypted (and most places) is passwords. At some point, probably in 2019 (after secret santa because it won't work with the update,) we'll need to change servers and update the software to become https compliant. It's going to be a huge undertaking, and I'm not thrilled with the new forum software look and feel.
  8. Actually you can't test it now, I have updated your supporter status, thank you for that, we are falling a bit behind.
  9. Just checked, I do have it set for 30 minutes. Please try another one here in the tech forum, see if you can edit it. I know you used the full editor, not the quick edit, but as a reminder to others, you need to use the full editor to edit titles.
  10. because physical size and data size are only loosely related. The image you have above is physically the correct max size, but the file/data size is 22.7k, just need to compress it a bit more.
  11. so what you're saying is all the options are different degrees of nasty
  12. A what? I googled it, that's gross, I may need a new dog, anyone want a slightly used late model 2016 Doberman Edit: There is a vet at the shelter today where Trudy is working doing a rabies clinic, she showed her the pic, said ignore it for now. Hmm, it bothers me.
  13. K has a small corn (my guess anyway) at the top of his pad. What is a good home remedy and treatment for this? Can we use people corn topical treatment on dogs, Salicylic acid or something similar?
  14. eh, it was fine, I feel the same as you, don't believe everything you read. My wife works with rescue groups (shelter dogs, not greys) and many of the rescue groups she personally works with will say anything to move a dog or bring in donation funds.
  15. Welcome, a had and have some family still in New Port Richey, no too far from you there in Tampa, I lived on the east FL coast in Stuart and Key West many many years ago.
  16. Abby has that problem all the time, and gets blood everywhere, 10' up the walls. The only thing I've found effective is "coverlet" bandaids, nothing else sticks well enough. I keep these on hand specifically for the dogs, like I said, these stick when nothing else does. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JXV5G6/
  17. I was thinking flush dns, this should lead you through the fix https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/fix-err-empty-response-on-google-chrome/
  18. odd that it continued after clearing your cache, ensure you really did that, not cookies, but cache and temp files.
  19. Umm...Umm...no, sorry Is there any specific post this happens on, or all of them?
  20. the vet called me, after she spoke to the manufacturer as well. Lots of smoke and mirrors later, I'm right, he's covered for 3 years
  21. The Dep of Health told me to call the animal shelter where Trudy works, they have no idea and told me to call the Dep of Health
  22. The manufacturer somewhat disagrees. Based on the label (I provided the serial number), which the rep quoted, the pet gets an initial dose at 12 weeks, then another dose a year later, i.e. a year and 12 weeks. From that point, it is considered a 3yr vaccine, so the next dose would be at 4 years 12 weeks. She did say that local ordinance could vary that, now I need to figure out who I can call about that...
  23. Even more weird... After discussing this last night, Trudy said she'd ask a vet who works with the shelter and actually gives these shots... Even a vet who gives these doesn't know I'll see if I can get ahold of the manufacturer
