  1. Not a mac user, so I can't provide first hand experience, but since the method outlined uses external image hosting, the process should be relatively the same.

  3. Expect a little downtime on Saturday morning. I have a small forum software update to install, and want to reboot the server which has been up 24/7 for about 5 months. If everything goes as planned, it should take less than an hour. If it does not go as planned, it will probably take exactly more than an hour Visually you should not see any changes, so nothing shocking. No planned start time, just sometime in the AM, CST.

  5. Our helpdesk system has been restored. After ripping my hair out for two months trying to figure this out, trying different software and pop3 hosts. The issue was that our host changed firewalls in December and that was blocking email retrieval. This was corrected this morning, and I have just finished working through the backlog. You may have received a notification from the system as I addressed, or unceremoniously closed your previously addressed support request.

  7. OK, I believe I am caught up on entering donations into the database, no fix for the helpdesk error, but caught up on data entry.

  9. well obviously we have a problem. The last donation I see in the helpdesk is 12/23. logging into paypal I see that is not the case. I'll have to figure out what went wrong and get to work on those. Thank you for bringing to to my attention, and my apologies for the delay.
  10. we create the profile thumbnail images manually when the member creates the ticket through their profile. That option becomes available once your post count reaches 50.

  18. I had to associate a $ amount in the system, even though we don't use that system for donations. We use a modified version because that was the only way not to mandate an actual specific donation amount, not just in text. I'm looking forward to the next major forum update, lots of things will change, and we'll move to a built in donation and help ticket system.
  19. Special thanks to @Yamaha_gurl for helping identify an issue with our support system. I believe this to be a firewall issue with our host. I have sent off a request for them to look into it. I have a temporary solution in place, but have no idea how long the failures were taking place.
