  1. I am going to start working on GT Supporter integration. You'll all get reverted to Member in one fell swoop, then I'll add each back manually. Part of the new process means I need to generate an invoice as part of the member group update, etc. A bit crude, but it will get things going. It will take me a bit to complete this manual/individual process, sorry for the inconvenience.
  2. Well I can for sure, make sure they are the only ones shown
  3. @GreyTzu Not sure about that one, I'll investigate.
  4. @FiveRoooooers to Preview: Inside the posting box, the rightmost upper icon (looks like a page with a magnifying glass) is the preview button It will preview inside the post window, and you can see what it would look like in desktop/tablet/phone views. It also looks like you need to login since you posted as a guest. Please be more specific/detailed on the photo sizes visible size, or file size?. What were your steps, and outcome.
  5. This took longer than expected, like everything does I'll dive more into this tomorrow. Enjoy!
  6. 11th hour issue, we'll remain at forum.greytalk.com with a greytalk.com redirect, as it always has been. Reversing that created a whole host of issues.
  7. Oh, you'll know! ...if it looks like this, it's the old one, if it looks quite different, it's the new one.
  8. No time for smoking, I'm all in, until the hockey game comes on that is
  9. I just turned on a "Bug or error Reports" forum, please post any POST-UPGRADE issues there, so I have a single place to find them.
  10. We will begin the forum upgrade in a few hours. It is safe to assume that any post made here after 5pm Eastern Time, may not carry over. This is a re-post (and some minor edits) of what I mentioned previously in the update your email thread.... THERE WILL BE SOME DOWNTIME AND GROWING PAINS. There will also be some time for me to get the current GT Supporters status updated, as we have been using an incompatible method for that. (I need to revert each member back, then manually create an invoice, and "subscription" to get things going.) It is kind of clunky to get going, but will be a nice change and more automated moving forward. I will get everybody fixed up in a day or two, it just won't happen automatically through the upgrade process. In addition to updating the forum, we're changing physical hosts, which means DNS propagation delays, and even though there is a temp site that I can access, any changes I make (to make it feel like home) will be wiped out during the update, so I can't even do that. To top it all, due to the way DNS propagates, there is a high probability that you may have access to the new site before I do If it looks generic, but the posts and people look familiar, you're good to go, until I can get in and edit things One thing to note, I will change the URL from forum.greytalk.com to just greytalk.com, we'll drop the subdomain, it's just cleaner that way moving forward, though it will break all the search engine links. I'll forward forum.greytalk.com to greytalk.com so you'll get there, but you'll want to update your bookmarks in all your devices. This will probably mean your login cookies won't work, so if you haven't ensured your email address is correct and that you know your password, this is your last chance. The whole upgrade process will take several hours, and DNS can take up to 24 hours, which means some people will be directed here (in limbo), and others to the new site until it propagates everywhere. See you on the other side. Fun times!
  11. Waiting to hear from our new provider, today "should" be the day, just not sure of a time.
  12. yes, as long as the email address is correct.
  13. Things are moving along, and I am shooting for next week. THERE WILL BE SOME DOWNTIME AND GROWING PAINS. There may also be some time for me to get the current GT Supporters status updated, as we have been using an incompatible method for that. I'll forward forum.greytalk.com to greytalk.com so you'll get there, but you'll want to update your bookmarks in all your devices. Shooting for Tuesday or Wednesday, the whole upgrade process will take several hours, and DNS can take up to 24 hours, which means some people will be directed here, and others to the new site until it propagates everywhere. "IF" I can get a temporary URL for the new site, I'll post it, if not, see you on the other side. Fun times!
  14. you think that now,... just wait
  15. April reminder, the very first steps were taken today. Ensure you know your login details!
  16. I'm shocked, the recommendation was to leave it alone, and let the bottom fall off by itself. The top is still partially protecting the quick. I'm so shocked, I'm contemplating getting a second opinion.
  17. Abby has a vet appt today for a split nail I've heard they can just pop off the nail with no anesthesia, is that true? Not sure what I'm in for this afternoon.
  18. That's a good looking pup you got there. Hopefully the kinks work themselves out relatively quickly.
  19. Happy New Year, here is your January reminder. I am still hoping to have this completed sometime this month, but will hold off a bit until version 4.4 is released, it is already in open testing, so it shouldn't be long, but I don't want to go through a major update, then need to update again right away, so we'll wait until 4.4 is fully released, again, still hopefully this month.
  20. this should help http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php/topic/294419-problem-viewing-new-content/
  21. Follow the last sentence in my original post.
  22. yeah, since that isn't the email address tied to your account, you need to update it, along with fixing your signature
  23. verify it with your eyes, if it is correct, you are good to go, if not, please correct it.
