  1. Mine says the same as everyones else. No way to acknowledge. I wouldn't start shopping just yet. One of last years events, the first matches were canceled and things were started over.
  2. A couple of years ago, my secret santa/bunny/August person didn't have a dog only 1 cat. They may be a bit harder to buy for, but I found some stuff.
  3. Oh no..not another It's been a busy couple of months at the bridge.
  4. That info can be put in the comments section. If someone doesn't do that and you need to know, and can't find out from previous posts, you can ask another GT'er your friendly with to ask on your behalf.
  5. Thanks. Most of her pictures are of her laying down. Her motto was " Why stand when I can lay down!" Probably one of the reasons she made it to 14+. Thanks everyone for the kind words and thoughts
  6. Sorry for your loss.
  7. Oh barnacles :( Very sorry to hear this. This has not been a good week. :(
  8. Diane Sassy, look for Willow. She'll help you when you arrive.
  9. Well old woman, our long journey together has come to an end. We had a rough start and ending. I would like to think you had lots of fun in the middle though. You came to live here in Feb. 98...and was definately not cat safe. "What have I gotten myself into!" I'm sure the cats were wondering the same. Luckily for all of us, you were able to learn from Patches that 'cats are not food...and not fun to play with' Those claws can hurt. One hurdle over with. Now for the SA. Although we made some progress over the following year, it was still an issue. Seeing how desperate you were to be with other GH's when you saw any, Austin came to live here the following year. As soon as he arrived, your SA was gone. By now you two are together again. You'll be able to play your hunting game with him, like you used to. Although I don't think there will be any coffee tables there, maybe there will be a rock you can play the round robin game with. I never got a good look at it nor any pictures. Every time I'd try to watch, both of you would stop. I could tell you both were having a good time. I know you'll be happy there. If you had your way I would of dropped you off for the day at the Dewey Hund Run and left you there. Your biggest joy was to be with a group of dogs running and having fun. You were also a very patient foster mom to quite a few GH's that have passed through here. I know a couple of them had to of gotten on your nerves. After all they were just learning all about this home life thing. You are not alone there. Besides Austin, your first new (post retirement) doggie friend Sheba is already there. She'll show you where all the good water puddles are for cooling off. Some of you M&G buddies are there. Robb, Finbar, Lindsey,McQuen, Dorcus. I think your dog park GH friend Mickey might be there. We haven't seen him in a long time and he was older than you. You and Austin help him along, you know how insecure he was sometimes. There will so so many new friends for you to meet. Until we meet again.
  10. Sorry to read of Weenie's passing.
  11. Good news. Hope we will be able to see him at the beach sometime.
  12. My second GH was vaccinated at the track ( Hinsdale) and received a health certificate from there as well. On it it listed his vaccination history. They had used his ear tattoo numbers as a rabies tag number in place of an actual tag. Maybe this has happened with his as well. If there is nothing like this in the paperwork you have, maybe the group has more and they have it.
  13. I was hoping that Rusty would be feeling better. If he were mine and unless he is on IV meds, I would bring him home and see if maybe that might help his appetite. I think he would at least be happier at home, maybe more comfortable as well.
