  1. Yes, they can. A very long time. I'd have his eyes checked by a specialist.
  2. Retest on the VF and check his eyes and do you have a certified chiropractor? I know most vets are familar with VF but did he check with protatek on treatment? Sending prayers!

  9. Sending prayers. Years ago I stopped giving one of mine dexatrim because it made her pant and behave abnormally. Perhaps the meds are doing it to her, or she has a UTI.

  12. If he was utilizing the cooked food, there won't be much poop I wouldn't worry about it for a few days. Relax!
  13. Yes the weather will affect the hock. It's been raining here and Mizzy stands sometimes on 3 legs but she uses it when she walks. Acupuncture will help Which chondroitin have you tried? I've had two now with a broken hock and Fresh Factors or Joint Health has helped both tremendously. Solomon was 13 and in terrible shape. This is him after some good food and supplements (he had pins in his hock): Not pretty but he was happy Mizzy -- I made a mistake and took her to the sprint runs in Abilene. She remembered and ran hard. Scared me.
  14. My understanding is if they are on it for less than 10 days, you don't have to taper. Any longer and you do. This drug may be different. Has he been on pred before with no aggression problems? Have you tried Tavist1 (not D)? Also talk to vet about claritin. Also look into chinese herbs. Do you have an acupuncture vet? Product Insert
