    Sounds pretty normal to me This is trancing. Eliza would also do it under the table cloth and in the clothes in the closet (yes, I shut her in there a time or two )

    You know I know what you are going through Have you tried Merrick? IAMS beef? (these are canned) Can you get frozen BilJac where you are? Have you tried rotissere chicken from WalMart? Maybe Magic is whispering in her ear Magic liked the lemon pepper and traditional.

    Check on the stomach meds. I've also found that many do not like mixed things. If they are going to eat kibble, they will eat it plain. Shadow was an exception: ate a can of tuna in oil with every meal for months.

    Try a couple of pieces of bread at bedtime, and if she is on atb's ask vet about pepcid

    As they age the smell declines, so stinky is good. Have you tried: tuna with the kibble or salmon, EVO reduced fat, Barking at the Moon, Innova senior, parmesan cheese, boiled or rotissere beef or chicken (if boiled, add a little garlic powder) I've had dogs do this when their stomach is queasy. Are you giving any stomach meds? pepcid, tagamet, zantac, carafate, prilosec?

    I used gas x on Burp and it worked. Gas scares me because of the bloat issue. Either his food isn't right or treats he is getting. Acidolphillus pills will help a lot. I just read the other thread about him being on tramadol. Are you using stomach meds too?

    You can use any dog shampoo and leave it on for 5 minutes--fleas drown. Did you spray the bedding?

    Get some carafate for his stomach if the antibiotic can't be changed. Do you know if he tolerates clavamox? Sending prayers to stoned doggy

    Sending lots of prayers. Who is doing the surgery? Poor Sammy--give him a soft ear scritch from me! My DD's minpin broke her leg and went through something similar (she shattered her elbow) in Louisville. They had to keep her quiet (crate rest) for 6 weeks. She is doing fine now

    I agree with adding a cup of food. Sounds like they have increased their exercise

    It's possible the pain meds are not strong enough. What is he on? Get the xrays to Ohio State asap and get their opinion.

    Drooling usually indicates infection and a bad mouth. Sounds like he needs some vet care. The shot is a no no. Don't let him get any more! You can pull up threads in this section. Several greys have had reactions.

    And if she continues to hold it for as long as she can with the pants on, it's not good for her at all. I'd skip them knowing she has an infection. Glad you took her in!
