  1. Joint Health from Springtime is a good supplement. I use it along with Fresh Factors. I've used their products for 9+ years. Springtime
  2. I had several Dobe bitches with mammory tumors. Removed and they did fine. Have you heard back from Ohio State yet?
  3. Where in Ohio are you located? Have you tried alternative medicine? Supplements?
  4. Protatek is the least expensive. Around $62 for them to test for e canis, babesia, VF, RMSF & Lyme. Those are the basic ones. They do not do PCRs for e ewingii and bartellonosis (or however it is spelled). North Carolina does. The problem is that it takes awhile for the test and if the dog is ill, you need to treat on symptoms, not wait. Sending prayers for the sick one!
  5. October 10, 2007 afternoon Winslow is taking the bed rest thing very seriously. I know he's pretty smart, but do you think he's figured out how to fake it? Glynis
  6. Huston is fine a lot of pictures in the raffle thread in Auction forum! From what I read it is not common at all. Did they get clean margins?
  7. If what I found is what it is, I'd email Dr. Couto: Sending prayers!
  8. October 10, 2007 Good Morning Diane, Winslow was back at the vet this morning for a check up. Although there is no diagnosis on this, it's getting better every day. So, Dr. Calo is pleased with the progress. He's still prescribing bed rest, so that means no swimming for 2 weeks, minimal walks in the neighborhood and no stairs until he stops limping completely. Otherwise, he says Winslow looks fabulous. The swelling is just about gone, he's bearing weight, but still limping. It's all in the foot, right above his toes. We could be in the basement for another 2 weeks. That's longer than it was for his amp, but we don't want to re-injure this or injure something else by making him do stairs when he's not ready. Winslow is loving the attention. He's happy to be down here with his dad and have his big bed, too. Although he's getting more restless with each day, he's getting visitors, so that makes him happy. We don't have to go back until January.. HOORAY! Glynis www.glynisberger.com new art 8/07!
  9. Sending prayers! Carafate not helping? What about phengren?
  10. Up and down. I've spent a fortune on food and currently have available for her highness: SG Mmellenia (which is a no go) Innova regular (maybe, sometimes) Eagle Holistic Fish (that is the current ok I'll eat it with warmed up canned on it) Eagle Holistic Chicken (which I have not yet opened) SG Wolf King (no go) CORE - I made a mistake and threw it in with the Mmellnia. She likes that one Out of frozen BilJac--must go get some <sigh> Working at least 10 hr days until Monday
  11. Glad it's working! On the zantac, sometimes doing one dose at bedtime works the best (300mg) 75mg does nothing in the dogs I've had that need it so I do a split 150 or the 300 at bedtime.

Happy Birthday! Have a super party in Rainbow Land Send your Mom an "I'm ok" message, please
  13. I'd do a tick panel. Have you changed to filtered water? How long did they culture it or is it still in process?
  14. Go with tramadol because if you do decide at some point to add pred, you can. I've given tramadol with several drugs. Many vets are not familar with it and many underdose. Tramadol
  15. Does that mean you checked for all the TBDs? I doubt it since e ewingii and some of the others are a PCR and they wouldn't be back yet From Dr. Stack:
  16. OK - didn't know there was swelling. Does sound like a bite. What kind of snakes do you have there?
