  1. Did the vet show you how? If not, go back and have her demonstrate
  2. Yes, if she is on antibiotics, you have to wait a certain amount of time
  3. Vet is coming around 3! (she is giving up her lunch hour to stop by!--what a good person )
  4. It may grow things not visible in a urinalysis.
  5. http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showtopic=54567&hl=
  6. Remind the vet that dogs on raw diets have different test results. I'll see if I can find Bill's answer on this. Do a urine culture
  7. Did that first thing. If she does not improve and I don't hear from the vet, I may have to take her in for monitoring. I really think it's from the bath. She is bright eyed.
  8. She needs prayers. She is not walking well. I'm trying to get ahold of the chiropractor. I think she is messed up from the bath, etc. I'm on my way to get two teeth pulled. This is not starting out a good day
  9. She is home. Had a rough day. Diarreha. So vet gave her a shot for that too. She has no interest in eating. Hopefully tomorrow. The blood work: Platelets, from 132 up to 205!!!! I guess we did the right thing HCT at 45.5 and I'd like to see it higher. RBC at 6.38 and I'd like to see that higher also. We will retest in 3 weeks.
  10. For $25 or $30 (I'll adjust biscuit quantity) which includes shipping: Small cake, biscuits and the fuzzy bear that they love and I don't know why because it doesn't squeak and a card! I think for the cake I'll do the sunflower/nut all of them really like and biscuits, assorted. Please--when you order, tell me how you want the card signed!
  11. Sending prayers. Check her feet and do a TBD panel.
  12. Sending lots of prayers for Darcy!
  13. Please keep Toots in your thoughts/prayers today. Second Imizol injection. She still is not eating that well but appears to be feeling better. Will also do a CBC to see if this is working.
  14. Even if you do a basic panel (no matter where - Protatek or NCU), they cannot test for every tick disease, so although you may get a negative, it may or may not be conclusive. Clear as mud? The tick disease issue is much bigger than anyone suspects. I'd start with the panel. Also, try beef & potatoes, or plain beef and see how the poop does and what color it is.
  15. I disagree some. I'd take into consideration the symtoms and the blood work. If you wait too long, by the time you see symptoms, it's too late.
  16. I'm giving Pablo 5 fish oil caps a day and I could do 8 (1 per 10# of body weight) How sweet! They got close quick, didn't they?
  17. Poor guy but he will be fine! Remember the fun he had! Everyone has to have fun!
  18. October 14, 2007 Hi Diane, WE'RE BACK! We moved back to the main level of our house today. Winslow was so excited! He came right up the stairs with no problem! He's really happy to be back. Of course, he missed his beloved sofa and a few of the toys that didn't go downstairs with us. He checked everything to make sure nothing was missing. After he saw that everything was in place... a nap. He seems a little stiff when he first moves around, but after a minute or so, he's fine. Seems like he's beginning to need the activity. He has been really anxious to walk in the neighborhood. So, hopefully, everything will get back to normal soon, and stay that way! When is your angel auction? Glynis
  19. Agree. I was thinking of a vet going there. Sending more prayers!
