  1. Sending prayers for a quick, uneventful recovery!
  2. It's a lot to take in. Were the xrays read by a specialist? In addition to the Circle of Grey, you may get a lot of info in these threads: http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showtopic=189644 http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showtopic=183222 http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showtopic=175997&hl= (also do a search for topics for member Bodie) http://forum.greytalk.com/index.php?showtopic=169522&hl=
  3. I've had a few of my older ones that stayed on zantac, 150mg twice a day for several years..... Sending prayers!
  4. Sending lots of prayers. I would call the vet and tell him what you said about the choking/movement issues.
  5. Leave it alone and take her to the vet in the morning (assuming you cannot get there today).

  9. One thing: I know I was told I could reuse the needles. I used the thinnest made and decided after a short time that I would use them once and throw them away. Made a lot of difference! Sending prayers.
  10. I reread the original post after reading silverfish's answer. Yes, you have to know exactly what you are dealing with! I had a Dobe with DM years ago and she had a thyroid deficiency. Once on thyroid, along with other treatment, it did not reappear. I personally with not use Revolution as it has the highest adverse reaction rate of all the hw preventatives. If your vet does not know exactly what this is, I'd see a specialist.
  11. Sometimes punctures are much worse than they first look. I'd have a vet look at it.
  12. I had a Dane get Saracoptic mange (which is the contagious one) and she never left the yard. The vet told me a bird could have dropped it off for us. Something where you are has it. Trying to figure out where/who can be difficult.
  13. It should start working in 24 hours Do you have him on filtered water? Make sure he gets lots of water to drink. You want him flushing out his system. Give the clavamox with food.
  14. Feed him what he wants. I believe they eat what they need. Stock up on kibble samples
  15. I suppose anything is possible. I'd go to the eye specialist
  16. Is she on filtered water? I doubt it's because of the food. If she is immune suppressed, this is a problem. Were there any other antibiotics that were sensitive to it? When Burp had recurring UTIs, we finally fixed it with 21 days of baytril. FYI -- many vets say that Cipro is not the same as Baytril, even though it is the same drug. Somehow it is formulated differently and works better.
  17. January 12, 2008 Good Morning Diane, How's everything there? It's been a busy week here at Winslow's house. After the good reports from the vet, he immediately wanted to send his birthday party invitations. Then we had to go out and visit the neighbors who were waiting to hear the news of his medical report. After all the cheering and celebrating, he's pretty worn out today. I was reading GT this morning and Winslow had the following commentary and wondered if you could post it for him?: Love that Darcy! Ohhhhh LONG HAIR .. She's pretty! (We hope she is doing well after her chemo and look forward to reading more about her). I would share my fan with her! GO CARRIER! Good job! Dempsey, It's going to work out just fine. Takes a little getting used to, but hang in there. After the surgery, it's recovery all the way and everything gets better. I'll be here, cheering for you! Bodie, How's it going? Thanks to all who celebrated this year and all the milestones with me. I wish everyone good health in the new year. Diane, Love those birthday cakes! YUMMY! I'm looking forward to it!!! Your little girl Grace sure is a cutie! I love a girl in a tuxedo. And now, a nap. Love, Winslow And there you have it.... straight from the big snooty himself. Have a good weekend. Give us an update on your pack. Glynis
