Sprout is such a dear. I'll be thinking of him & you too. Never would have guessed him to be 13.

Hombre was panting heavily & I too thought it was from thunderstorms but when he was in for his senior checkup he had an ultrasound done & he has mild carido myopthay (SP). keep an eye on him & have the vet check him over carefully.

I'm not a cat person, even tho I have 2, I do like the big boys that talh. My Russian Blue used to follow me around like that until I got too many not cat friendly fosters in. Runfree & health Richard & keep everyone at the bridge in line. If you want a nice dog to play with look for my Lucky girl ( Sheltie/Spitz) she'd like to play with a kitty again.

I just tip their head up & put the pill down the throat. My old girl ( non-grey) that is on Lasiks just gets it put on her tongue. I've never made a big geal of taking pills so when it's time for me to take mine they all come running thinking they get them! If I have a foster that won't let me use my regular method, I just use some PB & put the pill in the middle & put the glob on the roof of the mouth & when the dog licks it off the pill goes done without them knowing they've taken it.

Michelle, I just know Lotus & Merry were there to meet him & will be more than happy to play with him daily. It is so hard when any dog passes but especially a pup. I feel your loss. Lotus was a pretty little dark brindle girl so they will look adorable together.

Hope he doesn't chew up too much of Micheal's paperwork!! I love to see all the different dogs the truckers have at a rest stop near my house, sometimes the biggets men have the tiniest dogs but I would think one Huey's size would be better protection.
