  2. Oh, Gigi, I am so sorry. You did *everything* you could for BooBoo, including your last act of kindness. There are so many hearts hurting lately. MP, omg, so sorry. I know that life isn't supposed to be fair, but, I just don't get it. Please take good care of yourselves.
  3. From Tina: One of the awesome suggestions we received is to use Artemisinin. I guess Dr. Couto's studies use it too. http://en.wikipedia....iki/Artemisinin Has anyone else used it? I was going to try some of the local natural stores to see if they carry it before I order it on line.... just curious if any had any thoughts. The vet didn't seem to be against it here either. Many thanks. bonecancerdogs
  4. From Tina. Even Bob is amazed at all the support........ he said thank you from him personally. And he made a comment - it's good to know that there are so many people that still put the love they have for the dogs above everything else. Wish I could answer your posts directly - but there's always a way when you have angel friends - and when you have friends - mountains, valleys, and oceans - can't keep us apart. Bob said to tell everyone...... Thank you. It really helps to have such support..... and that comes from both of us....... We're so used to doing everything alone and always trying to be there for others..... this time.... we really appreciate it all more than we can ever express. This morning Cofax had some blood in her urine - but it cleared up so they think it was just from the cath. and she was sleeping finally but still not eating. The swelling is about the same but very little brusing. So I'll call this afternoon to be sure she's up for a visit.
  5. My furkids have been enjoying sardines on Saturdays, and we recently discovered sardines packed in tomato sauce. They *love* them. Me, not so much

  12. Dear Friends, Questions have come up that those of you who, unfortunately have also walked this path, may be able to shed light on. Cofax is having her surgery on Tuesday. Thanks again everyone….. If someone has some family hints and suggestions that I missed – would love to hear them too. If she's on the sofa or bed (half asleep), etc and rolls over to put her paws down and off – will she forget she doesn't have that side to assist her with and fall off? Will a body harness not be useful anymore? She does spins and slips out of collars (and harnesses but so far Mom's been faster)? How long is recuperation – stitches, etc. ? At what point after surgery can she be left alone at home for at least short periods of time? Post-surgery medications?
  13. Riley What a stunning, gorgeous hound. Lucy, I am so sorry. I have said this before, someone once told me that missing someone is a way of keeping them with us when they are not. It has helped me tremendously, and I hope you can find some comfort there, too. You will remember everything, and if something does slips by, someday it will come back and you will tear up at the same time that you smile. It's amazing.
  14. Yikes. We just do the best we can with what we have to work with. Much of the time, the end results are much better than we think they are. You are doing just fine vetwrap is available in several different widths, good for different sized ouchies. we stock them all.
  15. Take good care of yourself. (mini hijack ... i think it's alright, tho.)
  16. I cannot believe this. Pat, I am so sorry. Hugs to you, and to the PhillyPups, who are surely missing their bud. So sorry.
  17. I am so sorry. Every day is a gift, and I hope you have as many as possible ahead of you. Enjoy every single moment with BooBoo.

What a nice idea to plant a tree in Alan's favorite spot. I'm so happy for you that you can now see it blooming. Surely, Alan is watching over you
