Thanks, all. The meds end Thursday which I think will make Aquitaine happy. I really don't think she enjoys being woken up at 6:00 am to take the Carafate so that at 8:00 am she can eat breakfast. I also think the Carafate/Prilosec are suppressing her appetite a bit. She is eating half of her breakfast if I am lucky. I have ordered the Purina canned kidney diet in case she is just sick of the K/D. She will eat chicken, cookies, etc. so she is definitely interested in eating.

Thanks! I got severe stinkeye for many hours yesterday. Then my lovely girl gave in and gave me head rubs while we were walking. Update in first post. The walker just texted me that she made a beagle sized poop. That's up from yesterday's chihuahua sized one so there is an improvement here!

I think panicking gets a bad reputation too often. Much better to panic, then have a good rest when it turns out you have nothing to panic about. You panic because you care. Glad to hear that things were not as bad as was feared.
