    Dear Mr Basil

I am so very sorry. Godspeed, Mr. Basil.
  2. What a beautiful tribute. Don't you just feel like the luckiest person on earth when "that" dog finds you? I am so glad you had these years together. Run free, Lucky Girl.
  3. I am so very sorry. Run free, Munchie.

    Ice

I am so very sorry. Godspeed, Ice.
  9. I am so very sorry. Too many of us know your grief. Godspeed, Snappy.
  10. I am so sorry that Nube had to leave you. He and Rainey were the first two pups I met when I arrived at Bluegrass 2010 and gave me such sweet kisses. I am so very honored to have met them both. Godspeed, Nube.
  11. Wabi taught so many of us. I am happy you had a birthday visit.
  12. Thanks, all. The meds end Thursday which I think will make Aquitaine happy. I really don't think she enjoys being woken up at 6:00 am to take the Carafate so that at 8:00 am she can eat breakfast. I also think the Carafate/Prilosec are suppressing her appetite a bit. She is eating half of her breakfast if I am lucky. I have ordered the Purina canned kidney diet in case she is just sick of the K/D. She will eat chicken, cookies, etc. so she is definitely interested in eating.
  13. Thanks! I got severe stinkeye for many hours yesterday. Then my lovely girl gave in and gave me head rubs while we were walking. Update in first post. The walker just texted me that she made a beagle sized poop. That's up from yesterday's chihuahua sized one so there is an improvement here!
  14. I think panicking gets a bad reputation too often. Much better to panic, then have a good rest when it turns out you have nothing to panic about. You panic because you care. Glad to hear that things were not as bad as was feared.
  15. I totally understand. Sending good thoughts and prayers for Jaynie. Hopefully, the next reading of the results brings better news.
  16. No advice but hoping for a good report. Gentle scritches to Desi and an afterwork adult beverage for mom!
