I'm so sorry. I lost my first greyhound suddenly. He seemed the picture of health and then was gone with no warning. It's very hard, however, no matter how they go. And it truly never seems they've shared our lives long enough no matter how many years it's been.

Congratulations on your new addition! He's very handsome. It looks like he's settling in nicely and I feel sure he will help heal your hearts.

Here's some info on the canine formulation of Prozac and it's uses Reconcile . I met a couple at a M&G two weeks ago that recounted their experience with SA with their greyhound, Larry, that they adopted about a year ago. Their vet prescribed Reconcile and along with some alone training (they weren't specific about the method they used) he is now fine when they're not home. They were able to wean him off the medication but I don't know the time frame. Hope this helps.
