    Mine all have 'brake fast' bowls -- we've had them a long time but I assume they still make them. I'm sure I got them off amazon. We lovingly refer to them as the 'pig bowls'. We think they help

    My heart hurts for you -- no matter what the circumstance it is so hard....but this just sounded agonizing. My only advice - never second guess yourself or your choices -- it is difficult situation and to balance your head, your heart and your hubby under duress is impossible -- you did the best you could.......prayers for you

    So so happy your Tessa/ pizza joint is finally coming home! Can't wait to see all the roach pics on your bed and couch . She was destined to be yours -- congratulations! We've been cheering you on for such a long time in your quest -- and now-- at last-- she will be home . Can't wait to see all the homecoming pics!!! She is beau-ti-ful!!!!!

    Kyle - so sorry to read your beautiful tribute to Angie. I remember pictures of Angie the greyhound pillow! What a sweet sister she was!! Hugs to you and much sympathy.

    As a thank you from our group, halfway home greyhounds, we got to name phog as an unraced puppy . We followed his awesome career at derby lane and when he was injured and his racing career was over, his owner was kind enough to let us adopt him! We've had the big fella since January of 2016. Fit right in like he'd always been here with the other two. Let us know if we can help in any way

    Rock chalk! And welcome to greytalk . Hubby and I are both ku alums and our 3 current greyhounds are Ronee, Jill and beware of phog . We are in oklahoma and Overland Park and Lawrence on game days lol.

    I forgot the verbal part - "just walk" is what we say . And then "phog is a good boy". Any time the words good boy are uttered by anyone in our home he is there in a flash . Chow hound extradinaire
