galgomum Posted December 23, 2004 Share Posted December 23, 2004 (edited) In March this year, a little 12 year old whippet came into our home as a foster. Within 5 minutes he was in our hearts, 2 days later, we were officially adopted by him. Small as he was, he protected his three girls against any other dog, may it be a JRT or an Irish Wolfhound. About two weeks ago he started having difficulties breathing, a scratch in his throat the vet thought. Two days ago we found out it was much more serious. During our walk this afternoon I saw him struggle and than... he looked up to me asking me for help. A few hours later the vet came at our home and helped him to the bridge. He went so peacefully. Bye little brave one... Kit and Yarrah are waiting for you.
