Guest Sam_Roscoes_Mom
Roscoe crossed the bridge today at 130. He had bone cancer. Roscoe raced for 5 years and then was adopted by his family who had him 7 years and returned him because of a remarriage. GFNC ask us if we would like to foster him and the rest is history. Roscoe was a chatterer, had buck teeth and not many teeth left, a whinner and a nester. He was a no nonesence kind of guy. He kept Sambo in his place and for an old man he still loved to run. He went with me once a week to the assisted living facility to be with the people there for the day. He was a great therapy greyt and my residents are also sad this day as their furry friendly man is not with them any more. Dh and I were with him till the end and I didn't think I could do it but I am so glad I did. It was the last thing I could do for him. My heart is so sad tonight but I know he is no longer in pain and is running free. Godspeed Roscoe mama loves you!
