Guest FFEcho Posted April 12, 2018 Share Posted April 12, 2018 We lost our Echo yesterday. At 12 and 1/2 she succomed to cancer. We are devastated but relieved that her pain is over. What a wonderful companion for all those years. She watched our son grow up and taught us about grace and unconditional love. Thank you, Echo for making us better people. Always in our hearts. Roo Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Not a houndie, but Celia, a dog in my friend's rescue, passed away yesterday. I met her back in 2009 at the county shelter. She got adopted and I didn't think about her much since then, until my friend posted a picture of her coming into rescue, about 10 years old and severely overweight with awful arthritis. My friend cared for her, got her on pain meds, and got her a cart, but in the end Celia's poor body was just too old and worn down for anything to help enough.
