NeylasMom
Pathology report came back today - his lump was benign! I pretty much expected that, but it feels good to hear it regardless. Good thoughts for Zuri!!!A curious question Jen, you're in Maryland and you took Zuri to OSU??? Am I missing something? Yeah, I sure did. Long story short, I am a big worry wart when it comes to my dogs and I particularly had concerns about Zuri going under anesthesia because he has a history of overheating (due to exertion, I've never had to anesthetize him before) so I wanted him to have the best care for his dental. I did a consult with a local veterinary dentist, but the estimate was OUTRAGEOUS ($2000 for a dental and 4 extractions) so going to OSU where I paid less than $700 (including the biopsy and pathology report) and could have one of my old vets, Dr. Kellogg treat him was a no brainer. Plus a friend drove up from Cincinnati to spend the day with me and I stopped to see my family in Pgh both ways so it was really a no brainer for me in the end, even with the cost of gas and a night in a hotel.
