Guest twoskinnydogs
I can't believe that one year has passed. Not a day has gone by that I haven't missed her and thought about her. She was my first, the one who showed me what a greyhound was all about. She is responsible for all the work I do to find retirees homes. Emma was my heart dog! I miss her dearly and from time to time she lets me know she is still around. I see sooo much of her in Rita, some of the things she does remind me of Emma. Emma daddy misses you and I love you!!! Until we meet again my dear Emma Doo!

greytpups
Jason the anniversaries are always tough...I just wanted you to know I'm thinking about you today and know you are an awesome greyhound dad. Give some extra scritches to Rita and John for me. Quote Jan with precious pups Emmy (Stormin J Flag) and Simon (Nitro Si) and Abbey Field. Missing my angels: Bailey Buffetbobleclair 11/11/98-17/12/09; Ben Task Rapid Wave 5/5/02-2/11/15; Brooke Glo's Destroyer 7/09/06-21/06/16 and Katie Crazykatiebug 12/11/06 -21/08/21. My blog about grief The reality is that you will grieve forever. You will not get over the loss of a loved one; you will learn to live with it. You will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same, nor would you want to. ― Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

Guest twoskinnydogs
Thank you everyone! It is just hard because I know that Emma's death is the start of Toby's cancer fight also. I found the tumor last year on this date also.
