Guest DragonflyDM
I know I am newish--- so I thought I would introduce my buddy. This was his first week home at New Years. One of the first meals. Settling in. The one month mark…he is putting up with the cats. I can say that Boomer has filled out a bit on a regular diet and lots of peanut butter treats. Guest DragonflyDM
He is very cute! I love his name - My nickname for my bridge boy Ace was Boomer Boomer is the name the rescue gave him (Nittany Greyhounds). We were going to change it to Coffee, Starbuck or Cinnamon (because he looked liked a cappuccino), but he already knew his name and we couldn’t remember to be consistent. So we kept Boomer. He really is a super dog and incredibly well mannered. Cheesit, the cat, loves Boomer more than Boomer does him. That cat (28 lbs) just has no fear and when Boomer first came home, he just looked at him and went, “whatever.” My other cat disappeared for a week. Boomer growled a bit when Cheesit first decided to come up to him while sleeping but we all remained calm. I petting Boomer while Cheesit introduced himself. Eventually Boomer realized he was going to have a friend whether he liked it or not. Cheesit follows him around the house. And now we ALL sleep in the same bed together. I have never been so warm in my life!!! Cheesit and Maus cuddling Cheesit back in his modeling days. This was for a calendar shoot I did. Cheesit pretending to be a greyhound Oddly enough, we have had lots of interesting cats and animals come into this house!!! But this guy only stayed the day. The model was too scared to cuddle. Other family pets in the house… Boomer loves watching them in their vivarium hop about from branch to branch. What a nice stripey boy! And a nice fat yellow cat, too. Boomer didn't hurt his neck lifting those weights, did he? You mean my door stops and forgotten dreams? Nah. Boomer is more into doggy yoga….especially downward facing dog.
