duncan41
How fortunate everyone was to have the opportunity to love and be loved by Billy! How many dogs have two families to love them? I am so sorry he couldn't stay longer. Godspeed, Billy. No doubt you were loved - double. Guest Mom2Shiloh
My heart goes out to you, he was very fortunate to have such a loving godmother--- oh their hearts are big enough for more than one parent/special friend; so are ours. I'm particularly sensitive to brindles this month -- silvery brindles most of all. Billy was his own unique person -- I would have loved to have met him; and your farewell was deeply moving. I completely get not being able to write it for a few weeks. Sharing that much love and having to say farewells long distance is hard -- and yet, he was so very loved all around. My sympathy -- to you and his mom and dad.... I hope I get to meet him sometime, he sounds like just the kind of soft, furry boy I'd cherish knowing! greyhead
What beautiful relationships you describe, among the people and the hounds. You and Billy had a unique bond, and the universe allowed it to be honored. I'm so glad for you, and so very sorry. MP_the4pack
There have been a few greys in my life that weren't mine. And the pain when they left hurt just as much as if they were my own. Run and play with all the Bridge kids Billy. There's a lot of them up there now.

Guest Garwood
I really like that picture of Billy laying on your bed when he first came to your house. I wonder what he was thinking.
