after breakfast looks like it is starting to form but still soft which is much better than the water he had for 3 weeks

This morning was the first time since he came home from the hospital that he was excited to eat before he would just lie on his bed until I put the food down today he was bouncing around

Well, he's sleeping happily after a meal of chicken and jasmine rice (all I had) and his first dose of flagyl. Hopefully he sleeps through the night without incident. We can deal with soft and liquid poop, but it's the uncontrollableness of the episodes that is difficult for both of us. He feels so bad!

Do you know the name of the bacterial infection EZ had? I can ask about it on Wednesday when we go in, and hopefully avoid having to pay the ER prices. :-(

don't know the name of it right now but they are mailing me the report and hopefully will have it by Wednesday - I went the route of hook worm, plus the pancur and the flagyl and none of that worked - even Kaopectate and Metamucil. All told between my vet and the ER & Internal Medicine with hospitalization have have paid out close to $3,000.
