I Think Merlin Is In Pain

Recommended Posts

I was just thinking it could also be that he just doesn't like that bandage on his wrist. I know Soul sometimes acts all weird when I have to wrap up his paw, like he's freaked out----and then he pouts.

Just checking in on our wizard, Kerry.

Hope he's feeling better today.

Sorry, everyone, for not updating promptly. I took the dogs into the yard and Merlin bumped Sagan, who promptly started to cry and wait for mummy to come and rub his front paw - he wasn't bearing any weight on it (he's fine now) If it's not one thing it's another around here

Thank you so much for asking after Merlin. I have been leaving the bandage off since I came home from work yesterday, and he seems a lot better. I think Amber got it right - the bandage was making him panic. I had seen Sagan behave like this but Merlin never has, so I thought it was something else.

The wound is looking less raw and "angry" today, too! :yay And Merlin isn't trying to lick it all the time. In fact he's mostly left it alone. :)

Thank you all for your concern. I have spent most of the day cuddling with him, and for once he is lapping it up instead of giving me stink-eye :P

Glad Merlin is feeling better.

Lexi often does the "cry, holding up my paw, please come rub it and make it all better mom" routine also.

Hugs to both those handsome boys. :)

Maybe Merlin saw how much attention Sagan gets when he acts bothered and decided to give it a try

Still no picture of the life threatening injury?

I wouldn't put it past him <_<

No picture. I tried to take one yesterday, and I tried again this morning, but my crappy point and shoot would not cooperate
