My Rex is 11 1/2. also, and he usually sleeps in a little longer than the rest of the gang. I always stop on my way out of the bedroom to be sure he is still breathing because he is so deeply asleep some mornings. I hope when the time comes ( far, far away from now !) he goes peacefully in his sleep as well. Run free, King !!
