Oh, Lora, my heart sank when I read your post. You and Willie have fought so hard, I really thought he'd be one to beat it too. It's not cruel enough that this monster steals so many of our precious Greys, it takes you on a heartbreaking emotional roller coaster, always waiting for the other damn shoe to drop. Try not to play the monster's game, and let time become your enemy. If we worry too much about "when", we lose the "now". What Willie knows for sure is that he is safe and loved and happy TODAY. And there could very well be many more todays to cherish.

You and your sweet boy are in my prayers.

Thinking of you and Willie.

I don't understand this disease and I can't help but wonder why is there no way to stop it from spreading after the amputation?

We love you Willie and know you are tucked so very tightly in our prayers

First, ****. Second, enjoy every single moment you have. No matter how silly. Feed him caviar (the supermarket kind) just for the fun of it. Get him a lovely steak. Love on him as much as you can. He won't know why, he will just enjoy the heck out of it.

Holding you and Willie in my thoughts and prayers.

Since we haven't heard from you, I am hoping that this has been a day where you and Willie have gotten to completely enjoy each other. I know how hard that is when the loss is looming just over the horizon. Lots of wonderful thoughts for both of you.

Our thoughts are with you, we're going through losing our first and only boy to mast cell tumors....all we can do is love them, even though it's hurting us so much
