These make me nervous, but I am extra nervous about this one because on his check up they detected an irregular heart beat. I would not have the dental done, but he desperatly needs it. They are going to do an EKG before they put him under and if his heart beat is still irregular they will cancel the dental until they figure out what's going on with his heart. update I dropped Romeo off this morning and he was not a happy boy. He did not get his treat last night or his breakfast this morning The vet called about 2 this afternoon and they were not able to do his dental. His EKG showed that he still has the irregular heart beat so they were afraid to put him under. Now Romeo has to go to a cardiologist. There is not a murmur so he thinks it might be stretching of the heart muscles. We are going to get him in for his cardiac ultrasound and then go from there as to what needs to be done as far as medications and a dental in the future. Please keep Romeo in your thoughts.
