CaliforniaGreys
Will ask about the NSAID, tramadol, etc. So pissed, just heard from a co-worker that my boss said that he can't believe how much money I spend on my dog, this after I called to say that I would be a little late. I'm here over 20 years! Well, we all know what you can tell your boss!!!! I have a few ideas if you need them Quote Missing my little Misty who took a huge piece of my heart with her on 5/2/09, and Ekko, on 6/28/12 For the sick, the lost, and the homeless
Fiona3
Good news that Alan is feeling more comfortable. Your boss has clearly never had the loving connection with an animal like the one you have with Alan. It is just another thoughtless thing that people say when they shouldn't and don't understand. Hugs to your boy and hopes that you are able to get to the bottom of his limping. Jackandgrey
Oh I'm so sorry this is happening to Alan and to you guys. I know how very worrying and wearing it is. Watching them hurt and not being able to fix it. I know with Jack just panicking about how to get him outside almost did me in. You and sweet Alan are in my prayers. Guest ss556
Yeah, I certainly know what I would like to tell my boss! Thanks for the laughs! DH went home before and said Alan was trying to get up when he walked in - it was hard for him but he did it! He took him out - a few pees, no poop yet. Sounds good to me. I'll see how he is when I get home later. Still waiting for the vet to call me... Edited December 23, 2008 by ss556
Guest ss556
Vet called - since Alan seems to be getting better, there's no need to bring him in - if anything changes, of course I have to call and get him in. He wants him to continue with the tramadol for several days and have him take it easy. I will pick that up tomorrow. I hope all continues to improve to my boy. I can't wait to get home to see him in an hour or so! I need to see how he is doing.

Guest ss556
OK, we are so happy but still keeping our fingers crossed - he's doing so much better tonight. He's being careful with his front paws, but he's walking outside and around the house. He was starving tonight, after all, he missed two regular meals. We just have to be careful with Alan and not let him overdo anything yet. Thanks again for all the prayers, well wishes and positive thoughts. They are working for Alan. Guest ss556
Morning Report: DH said it was almost like a normal day walking to the park (2 doors away) - the only thing is that yesterday and this morning he has runny poop. He's been hungry and he's eating white rice and chopmeat (boiled) - so I hope his tummy issue goes away.
CaliforniaGreys
Just another idea for runny poop. Baked potaoe has really done the trick for us. We tried the white rice with not much success but a couple of baked potatoes helped a lot. Not all at once of course. Alan, please feel better my friend!
