And I know you loved me too. I'm going to miss your loving gazes from your chair, your dance every time I walked in the door, and your compassionate eyes. You were so empathetic and here for us when we needed the hugs. We still need you! But, I know you toughed it out for as long as you could. I hope you weren't scared when you left us. I hope there really is a place up there where you can play and run and... not be scared. You were my first dog, and I'm so scared that I'll never love another boy quite like you.
