Guest brooke Posted July 4, 2008 Share Posted July 4, 2008 (edited) Jacks stomach condition became to much for his body to bare. Some of you know about our battle with Jacks stomach problems. Over the weekend, he lost his apetite and started dragging his rear paws. When he did eat, he would through it all backup. We took him to the vet monday. Jack barely weighed 65lbs. The vet said there was nothing he could do. We had tried meds and different food. We just couldn't keep the weight on him. It was hard letting him go. He looked at me with his big brown eyes with his ears straight up. You could see he had a strong spirit, but his body was quiting on him. We miss him very much. Now he is in a better place with his special girl Camero. We love you and mess you both. Took this picture of Jack saturday morning. I had to make the same decision for my bridge boy Max. He was a GSD with hip dysplasia. I am so sorry, but you loved him enough to make that choice.
