Guest p51crazyhorse
Your prayers have helped, Daddy Duke is about to have his second treatment for heartworms around the 8th, he is doing very well. I had to force feed him when he first came to me, they had to lift him off the kennel floor to get him out to my car. he looked so sad I cried all the way to the vet. After looking him over the vet said that he could go either way. This was before the two boys lost their lives. He is a dream, he looks into your soul and you can tell how thankful he is. His daughter Topaz was adopted by a member of GALT and is now named Byng. This week i plan on meeting with her and Byng to have a reunion photo shoot with Daddy Duke. Your thoughts and prayers have not gone unnoticed and Daddy Duke and Byng thank you for them. I am blessed to have been able to help this wonderful boy, he still has three months at least before he is completely well. Keep him in your thoughts as he goes in for his Heartworm treatment this week.
