Guest Skywalker
My 10 1/2 year old red fawn greyhound, Witness, had to be put to sleep on September 30, 2006. She had been diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in April of 2006 and finally decided to try and take her last step last week. We had decided it was in her best interest since she lost a lot of weight, stopped eating and could hardly stand due to weakness, that we were to give her peace. It was very peaceful to watch her close her eyes. She is with us everyday and has given me the nod to fill the hole in my heart with a new 1 1/2 year old greyhound pup, Sky. I believe Witness is loving every minute of playing in green grass and happiness with other pups! ~Scoobs~ Edited October 10, 2006 by Skywalker

MauCarden
I am so sorry to read of your loss! Remember, if Skye starts acting up it will probably be Witness telling her "Do this, it will drive mom batty but she will love you more for the reminders of me." Quote Missing my sweet girl Scout. Guest Snowy8
How fitting she sent you a puppy named Skye...as in the beautiful blue sky is where Witness is resting where the rainbows stretch forever, butterflies are everywhere, flowers, and green meadows to run in. Soft white fluffy clouds to nap on & Burpdog treats hanging from all the tree branches! Bless your heart...I think we all feel your pain! I look forward to seeing pictures of Skye & hearing about all her adventures. Edited October 10, 2006 by Snowy8
