Let My Little Girl Go Today

I adopted Piper 5 years ago; she was already 6; the sweetest little black and white cat ever, with a black nose and mouth that made her look like a toy cat with a stitched on nose and mouth.

She had been handed in to the rescue because she was 'too quiet', all she wanted was to sleep under the bed or hide under the duvet. Bless her little heart; she was just shy. She came out of herself once she realised I wasn't going to try to prod her into 'performing' for me and she loved nothing better than to sit on my lap or sleep every night beside me.

Piper developed liver problems in May this year and after a four month battle she didn't have the strength to take any more. Today I held her as she passed to the Bridge.

I'll see you there my girl

All our love

I'm so sorry. We are facing this same decision with our black and white girl, Alex. Hugs to you and your family.

My tuxie Mutti would really like it if you would post some pictures of your sweetie Piper.

Chase those butterflies at the Bridge sweetie and wait for your family.
