He was very painful and had reached the point where anything else we did to him would have been more for us than for him. It was so hard. I don't think I'll ever be the same. Ricky made it three great months post diagnosis for osteo with amputation and chemo. He didn't follow the norm (with the desired response to treatment) and yet his time up until Saturday was quality time. I must say that Dr. Couto at OSU is the best friend you can make if your grey has cancer. For his compassion and dedication I could never thank him enough. Thanks also to all the new friends I've made here and through Circle of Grey. Thanks for your concern, advice and prayers. Ricky went to the bridge wrapped in his Warming Blanket.
