  1. I just saw this product on the Costco website and ordered it this morning. Not only does the Salmon Oil help with coat and overall health, it helps my picky eater Gizzy feel enthusiasm for her food!
  2. The Costco foods are made by Diamond, right here in the USA. I called them and they were very helpful in telling me any info I wanted regarding this food.
  3. We have used Kirkland Chicken and Rice for four years now. It was the only food we could find that solved Riley's horrible gas and pudding poop problems. Turns out he cannot tolerate corn or wheat. This is a reasonable cost kibble that is corn and wheat free. For those that are interested, here is a photo of the contents label. At almost 400 calories per cup, we feed between 2 to 4 cups daily for our pack. Gizzy our 58 pound petite girlie gets one cup twice daily, and Lady our 70 pound athletic girl gets two cups twice a day. Specky gets just under two cups twice daily, and poor Riley has a slow metabolism and he only gets 1.5 cups twice daily!
  4. This is why we call him Riley "ROO"!!
  5. Donna I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope that the special memories you have built with Logan over the years will bring you comfort in the days ahead. He was a very special boy and I am sure that he is watching you from above and thanking you for giving him that one last gift. They never stay long enough no matter how old they are when we lose them. Many Hugs, Carol Ann
  6. I am so very sorry Alisha. My heart breaks for both you and Bob. Many hugs, Carol Ann
  7. Teddy does this mean that you muzzle all the time? I muzzle for turn outs and when we are not home, but the rest of the time my hounds are muzzle free. I cannot imagine having them muzzled all the time.
  8. That is how Riley's neck would look after an afternoon in an unlined collar. He has a very sensitive and naked neck. Feel better soon baby.

    My Jilly

There will never be another Dancing Queen like Jilly. I will always remember our tutu wearing, real fake Swarovski diamond collar loving girlie. The girl who out shinned the Queen of England last summer on her visit to Canada. Jilly you will always be in our hearts. Many Hugs, Carol Ann
  10. Our boy Riley had gas that could peel paint off the walls when we first got him. It was so toxic that he would clear an entire end of the house! He also had soft serve ice cream for poop. We tried several different foods over the course of a few months and nothing helped. Finally one day I was at Costco and in desperation bought a bad of the Kirkland Chicken and Rice. This food is wheat and corn free. It was amazing. Within a couple of days the gas was all but gone and the poops were now nicely formed. Turns out that poor Riley cannot eat anything with corn or wheat in it. Even a couple of dog cookies with those ingredients will produce the gas/stool issues. So we are just very careful about the contents of his food and everything is fine.
  11. Switching to the Costco Kirkland brand was the only thing that firmed up Riley's pudding poop. Turns out that he cannot tolerate corn or wheat. Since the Kirkland is corn and wheat and filler free that did the trick. I even have to be careful about his treats. One treat that has corn or wheat is fine, but more then one and the gas comes back and the pudding turns to pudding again. Costco sell a peanut butter flavored cookie at Christmas time that is c/w free.
  12. Yeah Darcy!!! You are my all time favorite hairy girlie!! I will continue to keep you in my prayers. Hugs, Carol Ann
  13. I am so very sorry. :f_pink:f_pinkGod speed Hana.
  14. Donna many prayers and good thoughts are coming Joe's way. I really, really hope that this is something easy to take care of. Feel better Joe - we need you! Hugs, Carol Ann and Riley P.S. Riley will continue to wear his metal medal for Joe.
  15. Jeff will the double click to return to the top of the page be coming back? I am using Firefox. Thanks for all you do for us - both in the military and here on Grey Talk. Carol Ann
  16. Oh!! Being able to view and post on Grey Talk easier from my iphone would be awesome.
